Larry Carlton L7 BK

Having bought two other Sire guitars (H7 and L7v) which are fine instruments, I had great expectations with this one. The guitar arrived perfectly setup as far as neck relief and string action goes. Volume and tone buttons not properly aligned and one of them had a small fracture. Then I plugged it in to my amp, and...... Nothing works as it is supposed to! Turning the knobs had no or very little effect. Someone at the factory obviously didn't have a clue how to solder the electronics correctly and even more worrying it passed QC! I did not want to spend any more time with it and decided to return the guitar and bought another guitar from Thomann (which is absolutely perfect). My two other Sire guitars are flawless - guess I was just unlucky with the L7 BK.
