I mainly use it with my Takamine jumbo acoustic electric for worship songs. I find it especially useful when I have another acoustic guitarist next to me. It gives your chords some different voicings and adds a little bit of "freshness" even to some old songs.
Pros:
- easy to use
- high quallity product, feels sturdy and solid
- "first aid" for situations when you don't have an arrangement for two guitars, and you don't want to sound boring with two guitars playing the same thing
- encourages creativity
- excellent for fingerstyle players
Cons:
- takes some time to get used to new chord shapes (if that can be a true con...)
very good does exactly what you want it to fun to play round with lets you play round with different turnings you might not think of otherwise and really good for getting different ideas of riffs use it live and it holds up fine really good if your stuck in your playing just to get an some new ideas move it about the ability to us the bass strings or treble strings normally and too have another 3 stings held down is very useful particularly if your using alternate tuning very good for figure picking in fact holds up for most styles of playing
I bought this after a friend recommendation.
Great choice!
It takes an hour to get into new chords, but than you play open chords you never should without this (only if you have rubber fingers).
Great feature is narrow handles that don't obstruct you to play around this capo.
I love it!
