I'm using this microphone stand together with a Røde NT2A condenser microphone. This is a very nice combination. Overall, the stand is very stable. My only - very small - critique is the locking screw for the boom arm is made out of plastic. The Røde microphone is somewhat heavy, making it necessary to tighten the screw hard and risk breaking the plastic. However, it's possible to get a replacement screw made out of metal from K&M

K&M makes some great stands. I reccomend it. The 'elephant foot' base is heavy and sturdy. And it doesn't take up too much space on the floor.
As I mentioned in the subject line this got to be the mic that saves space on stage and its built like a tank.
I decided to buy this mic stands as replacement for our church existing long legged mic stand we have. our church stage has choir layers which are narrow and this mis stand is an excellent solution for narrow space as such.
Stand base is heavy enough to even mic stereo pari of heavy rode M3's. we use these as vocal mic stands and also for mic instrument and piano.
This may not be the best mic stand for traveling due to its wight but as for house of worship, other Live or studio situation this is an excellent choice. it also reduce the clutter of long three legs that you see on regular mic stand and gives a much cleaner look.
This boom stand is very good. You get a great value for the price and in comparison to its stability its price is OK either. Basically its the König & Meyer 210/9, just with a round base.
Its base is very heavy. This makes the whole micstand very stable and useable for heavy microphones and accessory such as iPad holder and so on. I use this stand for my Keyboard Rig with almost the full height. It stands directly in front of me and I have got an iPad Holder as well. So, although I use it high, with a standard microphone and an iPad Holder it is very stable. You don't have to be scared about the stability of this boom stand.
So all in all I am very happy with this stand and like using it for my Keyboard rig, although its not that cheap.
