K&M 252 Black

These stands are great for the price. A little light weight but extremely flexible going from a small to a large stand all in one. Very good for studio and light live use but will not last on a lot of live work. However for the price they can be replaced.

For recording on the go and already too much stuff to drag along (instruments, gear, I need a roady) this is ideal for a couple of light stereo mikes or one heavier mike (like a Shure).

Slightly less stable than ordinary K&M's so when extended, under max lenght and angle put one of the feet in the direction of the mikes so they won't dive when someone bumps into them or so. Combines great with the Røde Stereobar, which wheighs next to nothing.

Had K&M stands recomended to me but was put off by the increased cost. That increased cost is worth every penny, really well engineered & robust, these have already lasted longer than my cheaper purchases.

This mic stand can be very compact allowing easy transportation, yet it can reach very low sound sources and with the telescopic pole and boom it can also reach higher sound sources without and compromise in the stability.

Apparently a good quality piece. It folds to become pretty small and portable. You can adjust it pretty much as you want. No unwanted movements and locks pretty tight

K&M make good things. I bought this mic stand because it folds up small. I go to gig on my motorbike so this is ideal. Build quality, fittings all work very well. Paint is also very hardy. Stands get bashed about and look 'used' after intensive use. This one still looks new!

I bought this when my expanding rig was getting too much to tranport! A solid, well made mic stand, but can be folded up into a medium sized gig bag. I originally had a cheaper boom mic stand but found it quite cumbersome. After searching endlessly on the internet for something more compact, I returned to Thomann and found exactly what I was looking for.
