love this because it generally sounds a little darker than the ts9 counterpart, which i like a lot, and makes a solid lead tone if you cranck the tone knob all the way to the top

The best way to boost a high gain metal amp
SixAgainstOne 08.04.2023
Drive at minimum, level at maximum and tone at noon - the classic way to add saturation to a high gain amp and clean up the low end at the same time. In this regard it is very similar to another classic: the Maxxon 808, but with a much tidier low end. I also recently compared it to the more expensive Fortin Hexdrive which sounds very nice, but in my opinion, the TS9 is even better. The switch is not the greatest, though. But I never really switch it off, so for me that’s ok.

DS
Classic overdrive sound.

Sounds amazing and looks cool. The red light can be difficult to see in various lighting situations. The stomp "button" might need some getting used to, as you need to be more precise than with a boss pedal, for instance.
