Ibanez SR306EB-WK

I bought this bass as a back-up bass to my Ibanez SR 506-BM which I hold very dearly. The bass is stunningly low priced without compromising the construction and the quality is awesome compared to more expensive models. The electronics and pickups are great and delivers a fine mid-range tone in a powerful output that makes your playing heard in a band. The controls and pickups are solid and noiseless and I think the value is twice the price all things considered. It has a double truss rod to adjust the neck angle which also is a great feature. The tuners and the bridge is solid and stable, but the bridge could be a a bit better, however but at this price it does its job and delivers good resonance to the body and tone.

The sound is punchy and more in-your-face compared to my SR 506 bass which is more mellow in tone. Nevertheless, this bass has great tonal options using the EQ's and the middle switch. The factory setting (action etc.) is great when unboxing. No adjustment is needed. The bass is delivered with D'Addario EXL strings and is also great. All in all it is a great bass and I would buy another one again if I needed one again. My best recommendations!
