I have tried many different picks in my life but always struggled to find the right one.
Some years ago a friend of mine borrowed me an old pick on which i could not recognize any brand but only a drawing of a guitarist. I simply loved that pick but i never managed to get it in a shop in order to buy tons of that kind.
Thomann gave me the opportunity to do so and so i'm here. This pick it's percfect for me, right size, right grip and also right durability (i still have the one "borrowed" by my friend 8 years ago) and it still works fine.
Buy it, if you are into blues, rock hard rock or simply you love the kind of music that paul gilbert do. You will not be disappointed.
Classic infamous PG Picks in the black flavour, which I find very stylish (but beware, if you accidentally drop your pick in the dark of a stage it can be a pain to find it, so have some spares in reach and/or choose another colour).
Very good for speed freaks, it lends itself to very fast picking rins, but they tend to wear out VERY quickly.
Also the grip is not very good.
I bought this picks 7 years ago for the first time with my first guitar. I haven't found a pick that is anywhere near as good as these ones. They last forever and they just feel great in your hand. I can play from smooth jazz, to heavy rock power chords, to massive solos and arpeggios. The thickness is just as it needs to be, and the handling is really good. The shape is not altered after a while, and they are not worn out easily. Literally i normally use one for almost 7-8 months before it needs to be changed. Maybe not the best for acoustic guitars though.
Not as good as I expected, and also much smaller than I expected. The tip is simply way to smooth for my taste, it glides across the string and the attack of the pick is lacking.
I want to like these pics, but there's one problem with them: they have too slippery surface. They are comfortable, have a very good shape and make little picking noise, but this surface is just too bad for me. I think they'll be great, if your hands don't sweat at all, otherwise I would not recommend them.
