Ibanez AS93FM-VLS

Here is my review of the AS93FM.

I have previously owned an Eastman t386 and an Epiphone Dot that both are really good instruments.

For me the AS93FM comes out on top because of
- the body construction that is very resonant, the body is also a little smaller than the traditional 335-style guitar, but it is still good to sit down with and not so bulky to stand with
- the neck is solid build of three pieces with an ebony fretboard, you can easily play in the upper (>12th fret) positions
- the Super 58 PU's are extremely good, the neck goes for blues and jazz and the bridge will do the rest

But providing this kind of quality has its cost and I am sure that Ibanez has saved some $$$ on the following
- the tuners
- the metal parts
- the fret edges

So my suggestion is to do yourself a favor and order
- a set of Kluson MS33G tuners or something alike
- a Gotoh GE103B-T TOM-Style Bridge G or something alike
- and sand the fret edges or have your favorite luthier to do it
