I intended to build a small setup for my local school. Of course the project was strictly on budget and we tried to get the best sounding system we could. Since we couldn't afford the subwoofers, we tried to use the 15-inch loudspeakers. We installed 2 per side and suspended them using chains. With QSC amplifiers it sounds like a wonder. Way better than the old JBL series speakers.
I would highly recommend suspending these speakers, since the 15-inch loudspeaker and 60 degree angle are mostly enough for all small applications. But be careful and use only professional advice, when suspending equipment overhead!
These will be also perfect for a small pub gig w/ subwoofers.
Bought the premium pro 18” and the 15” tops . Extension poles and all the padded bags , added the caster kit to the subwoofers
This kit just blows everything else away 😁😁
Running Yamaha p7000s on the two subs and two Yamaha 3500s for the tops , Yamaha graphic equaliser sorts the signal then a speaker control system does the magic sending signals to the amps , all in a wheeled rack cab
We use these as top cab house speakers in a church. They easily fill the room and provide a great sound! They are really heavy but fit onto a pole just fine.
