One thing that shocked me about these stands is how light they are! But well made, and much better than any budget stands. Do yourself a favor and invest in these rather than getting cheap ones and replacing them a few months later.
I've been upgrading gear and bags recently and my old "mild steel" speaker stands have been looking tatty...
These hercules ones are very light, and smart looking . I probably bought them because I have a couple of Hercules mic stands as well that have been trouble free.
It's hard to get excited about speaker stands - these are better than my old ones, the bag and zipper look durable.
They have a twisty bit to fit differing pole holes - I'm using mine with Yamamha DSR15's and they work a treat !
best raport price quality i have on them fbt himax60 wich are not the lighest speakers 1 speake have around 25 kg i highly recomand if u look for some buget stands will not dispoint for some on e wich mouve speakers like me mabie 1 a month i dont need expensive stands
Using for the Behringer PPA2000BT speakers. It is a must if a larger room is used. Excellent quality, but needed some tweaks with a "silver tape" so that it does NOT resonate when playing certain bass sounds. (The security pin lock is vibrating as it is attached to the height setting screw).
Bought these stands for our speakers, as the name suggests. The pros are that they are extremely light which is good for transporting. The cons are that they are very unsteady with speakers on them. They can visually be seen leaning and look like things that could topple over. It's very annoying as when you buy Hercules, you expect them to be flawless. As a result, I continue to use my old studio spares stands and have these as backups. I just don't trust them to hold up speakers in the event that somebody may bang into them, or other incidents.
I had an old set of speaker stands that were on there last legs and decided to give these ones a go and so far they have been very good and the carry bag is brilliant too.
Of those stands that I used earlier they showed themselves with the best hand, very high quality stands. If you need high quality and light weight choose it.
