There was a bunch of things wrong with this guitar. The build quality was very bad, and the nut and the saddle was kind of dirty. The guitar couldn't fit my Cordoba E strings, so don't buy them with the guitar. The second highest string kept falling out of the nut. Wouldn't recommend it, the only positive thing was how good it looked, even though some of the inlays were very poorly made and dirty.

I don't even know where to begin.
Top separating from sides, bad paint job, frets sticking out need to be shaved, electronics installed crookedly and so on. It basically looks and feels like an instrument toy you would buy in a souvenir shop with a country name on it.
I've sent it back and also did let Gretsch people know.
I could go on and talk about this but it just ain't worthy, probably just go back to my Yamaha GL1 with external pickup.

J'ai eu cet instrument en ma possession pendant un temps. Je le considérais comme le meilleur guitalele, notamment par rapport au Yamaha GL1 ou Kala KOA. Depuis j'ai découvert les Cordoba SM-CE et il est vraiment difficile de reprendre le Gretsch ensuite tellement le son est meilleur sur Cordoba. Certes, le format est barytone au lieu de ténor. Si on veut rester sur du ténor, c'est certainement le meilleur choix. La caisse en acajou produit un son ample. Tous les modèles ne se valent pas. J'en ai reçu un exemplaire sans résonnance que j'ai renvoyé. Attention aussi au poids du manche supérieur à celui du corps. Ca reste un très bel instrument visuellement avec un son correct.

Jeg havde dette instrument i min besiddelse i et stykke tid. Jeg betragtede det som den bedste guitale, især sammenlignet med Yamaha GL1 eller Kala KOA. Siden da har jeg opdaget Cordoba SM-CE, og det er virkelig svært at gå tilbage til Gretsch bagefter, fordi lyden er bedre på Cordoba. Indrømmet, formatet er baryton i stedet for tenor. Hvis du vil forblive på tenor, er dette bestemt det bedste valg. Mahognikroppen producerer en fuld lyd. Ikke alle modeller er lige. Jeg modtog en kopi uden svar, som jeg returnerede. Vær også opmærksom på, at håndtagets vægt er større end kroppens. Det forbliver et meget smukt instrument visuelt med en anstændig lyd.
