Whilst using my SQ6 mixing desk I was always trying to fins somewhere to place my headphones.
I had thought about sticking some of bracket to the side of the desk however it wouldn't look very professional.
I opted to buy the Gravity unit to see if I could modify it to suit.
The stand is very tall which is what is required so they are easy to reach.
Once they item arrived it turns out that the base fits nicely under the mixing desk holding it in place, I removed the screws that hold the top section in place and reversed the fitting so it now points the other way.
It's just what I needed to do the job, well made and easy to adapt to my needs.
If you like a tidy work space on live gigs, get yourself one of these.
Simple yet so needed any one with headphones that care about there headphones needs on of these keeps my headphone safe and sound from all the other items on my desk.
I have even managed to put a second one on as well.
very sturdy and good quality built as expected from gravity
Simple stand that can hold both a pair of cans and a IEM. It has a nice mat back finish and rubber for the headphone. Can not really see any thing negative for the price.
For this price it's hard to beat and it does it's job. Only downside I can think of is that if you have heavy headphones it can be a bit wobbly to tip over forwards, but it's not a problem if you make sure to place the headphones as far back on the hanger as possible.
