I purchased this bridge to replace the original 3-saddle bridge on my Pink Paisley Fender Telecaster (MiJ).
I didn't like the feeling of the ashtray bridge: it was too thin and it felt unconfortable for my picking hand.
The Göldo HW40C is a good replacement: it's a little bit heavier and feels very solid, which is exactly what I was looking for. Moreover the finish is very smooth and i really prefer 6-saddle over 3 saddle even if it looks less vintage.
I bought this Kluson bridge to replace the vintage 3-saddle one in my tele mostly because I wanted to have per string intonation adjustment. It is extremely solid and it fits perfectly in the standard 4-hole pattern.
Pros:
-Solid piece of metal, very sturdy
-Excellent finish
-Very easy intonation adjustment
Cons:
-No big deal but I had to remove the saddles to access the four mounting screws.
I wanted to replace my guitar's traditional bridge which is Wilkinson sung-ill wtb with string spacing 10.8mm but I couldn't find easily information about the dimensions of Kluson HW 40C bridge. After seeking information and replacing my traditional bridge I want to say that it fits perfectly. I think if your bridge is same as my traditional bridge which has 4 screws to fix it will fit your bridge too.
I was doing a major job on my Fender Telecaster and had to replace the bridge due to rust. I bought the HW40C which seemed to be good quality at a good price. However, within a week I started breaking 5th (A) strings which was highly unusual. I took a file to the bridge and smooth it out as best I could and since then it has been great.
