If you are into american primitive this is the way

If you play lots of open tunings and your style depends on open strings drones this is the only way. Also a budget - mid - high end guitar will improve lots. Not to mention the overall improvement in facilitate tuning when retuning a lot.
If you like repairs, got some tools and knowledge it is a good project for a weekend. otherwise look for someone that does.
I have always liked zero fret guitars for the low action and good sound they bring. Installing this nut is much like installing any other, best left to a professional if you are not confident. I didn't take my own advice and fitted it myself which went ok. It works very well on my acoustic guitar making playing at the nut as easy as with a capo. Also sound seems brighter. Very pleased.
My first guitar in 1964 had the standard zero fret... I have fitted the zero glide nut to two of my guitars purchased from Thomann and feel the excellent acoustics have been improved in sound and the advantage of a low fast action. Thanks to all at Thomas
