It's a lovely piece of steel! it was super easy to install and it works wonderfully, ofcause you (and I) really want a roller bridge to combine with it, I was initially pretty worried it wouldn't fit my at this point heavily modified contemporary starcaster but it fits as it should and it includes riser disks for if your attaching it on a carved top guitar. All in all easy install, lovely range, lovely piece of kit
Installed in literally 3 minutes with no tools, just my fingertips! Feels similar to a bigsby but smoother because the mechanism is simpler. It feels sturdy and solidly built. Definitely a recommendation as an affordable, alternative choice, and a must if you want a fully reversible mod.
I was debating adding a Bigsby to a Epi LP Special but was struggling to justify the cost and to decide which one I wanted. Then I stumbled on this, read the reviews on the tinterweb and took the leap. It was a couple of weeks before I had time to fit it but, once I had removed the old tail & bridge and put a roller bridge in, installing this took about a minute.
And it works: in fact, the feel & resulting sounds are very similar to a Bigsby with the same subtler changes in pitch compared to a Fender or Floyd Rose trem-type set up. It also looks fantastic with the other nickel hardware.
So pleased I did this - am seriously considering adding something similar to my grown-up LP.
