Exactly like the one on the Harley Benton 6-string banjo, except with a better finish. If you need to sand off the bottom of your bridge to lower the strings, get this one. If you want to improve the quality of your banjo, buy this one anyways.
I bought the Harley Benton Banjo a few weeks ago from Thomann and I must admit that the quality of this instrument is excellent for the price. The only problem for me was the action height as I am used to playing a guitar. As the only way to lower the action is to lower the actual wooden bridge, I decided to buy this Gewa Bridge and sand down the feet to get my banjo action to the correct height. Within half an hour's work I had the perfect action for my banjo playing.
I bought this item so I could sand the bottom off it to replace the stock bridge on my 6 string banjo whilst retaining the original bridge. It worked a treat! The bridge is well made and nicely finished. I highly recommend it.
I bought it to replace my Harley Benton 6-string banjo's bridge, this one is considerably thicker, which improves both the sound and the tuning (the strings don't gradually dig further into the slots) and it is slightly shorter than the original, which in my case improved the playability of the instrument.
Noticeable improvements at a very small cost.
