My favourite acoustic amplifier. To my personal opinion even better than a Hughes and Kettner Era1 which I’ve had for 2 weeks before returning it and replacing it by the Fishman Loudbox Artist. The ERA1 is on par or slightly better for guitar, but voices are much better processed by the Fishman. The Fishman is more intuitive to use and has better control over the effects. Of course the ERA1 a beauty with it’s wooden cabinet where the Fishman is very basic with its very thin ‘Tolex’ finish which is not really road-proof. The corners are well protected though by plastic buffers.
I like the control over the effects and the option to mute the channels by foot switch. The adaptable tweeter level is a welcome functionality which give an extra control over the sound. I use the amplifier for guitar-singing in a home studio but would take it to a live gig if needed without any hesitation. The DI output and FXloop are very helpful in that case.
A must hear amplifier to my opinion, well recommended.
The optional Fishman cover is a joke. It’s nothing more than a sheet without padding but with the Fishman logo. The protection is therefore limited.
Shipping by Thomann was fast and secure. Thanks!
This one little killer is the best.
Compare to orange/fender amp fishman sound more clarity and not like an electro amp (especially fender).
Balanced EQ, nice build-in effects, FX loop and tweed button...
There are much more awesome options to find in fishman artist amp..
Highly recommended.
I originally bought a much more expensive amp but I sent it back and exchanged for the Fishman and I have no regrets. It sounds great, works well with Bluetooth so I can play along to my favourite tracks. It can be used as a practice amp but then there’s plenty of volume for gigs.
I already had an Fishman mini (Non battery) & At the time I was thinking I with my Roland Street XL sounded like this. Then they released one so I got rid of the Roland and bought Fishmans busker amp. Followed my this "Fishman Loudbox Artist". At the time I bought the 1st Fishman I bought a foot pedal with it. The foot pedal works with this Loudbox Artist unlike the smaller 2 amps. I really like this Artist has a Headphone output too. My neighbours apreciate it too ;)
