I had some trouble finding the right color to replace my Fender SSH pickguard listed as aged white with SSS aged white.
I have compared the two and color is the same.
So, aged white=parchment (as far as pickguard color goes).
very well made pickguard, darker (almost greeniish or even vintage white depending on the light) than a white pickguard...put it on my american standard strat vintage white with rosewood neck and it looks fantastic, i didnt want to go mint green so the parchment looks very classy...spot on.
This pickguard replaced my original one on my American Standard strat. The holes was a bit off but nothing serious.
The problem is on the curved lines, while on my original pickguard those curves are perfect, on the replacement one was like may straightlines that tries to be curved.
My expectation of a genuine fender pickguard was high, i was hoping for the exact same one as that my guitar came with.
It is made in Mexico and that should be also mentioned in the description.
The color is almost white, a bit brighter than the one in the picture.
Most probably i will sell it and i will put back my original one.
