I have a fender g dec 3 30. And it is great for switching between presets during my performances. i can set 3 favourite presets and choose between them. Or scroll through them.
The loop and dubbing function is great for learning to improvise
Best addition to a GT or Rumble amp.
Given the fact that it "unlocks" the looper feature on the amps, I consider this to be a must accessory.
I do find it funny that for the bank up and down you have to press simultaneously on two switches. It makes you do some funny stuff with your feet while playing.
I use it together with my Mustang GT 100 and it really is helpful to make more use out of the amp. The most important thing is that it allows you to use the looper so I think it's pretty much a must-have with this amp.
This footswitch allows many of the menu funtions available on the amp to be controlled on the floor "hands free".
Its a Must Have if you have any need to change your sound settings between numbers.
However, its not very "intuitive" and requires some nifty footwork and thinking ahead to operate.
Still excellant value at the price.
I use this footswitch with a Mustang GT40. Even if you only use it to quickly enable the tuner or to operate the looper it is worth it. It is build like a tank and will likely outlive the amp.
My only niggle is not with the switch but with the GT40; why is this switch not included by default?
