EMG BZ Bouzouki Pickup Black

This active coil pickup sounds really truthful to the Bouzouki sound. I am very pleased with the sound quality. However the installation is very tricky if your instrument's fretboard comes right down to the soundhole. I had to make a special wooden mount in the soundhole in which to screw the pickup on to. I shall be contacting EMG to see if they make some design adjustments. Also I cut out a hole in the side of the instrument and fitted a dedicated 9volt battery box to make swapping a new battery easy.

Sound is very good !I installed it very easy.
The sound of my instrument is now royal!

not that easy to instal.
advertised as bouzouki pickup, but no place to leave the 9v battery. tha battery is basically just loose in de body of the bouzouki. in order to fix that ive had to craft a metal battery holding clip (such as found on savvas pickups) and glue it to the back of the magnet.
overall, if you know what you're doing it's just a little work, but the sound is tottaly worth it.
