Everybody talks about pedals, pedals and pedals. But no pedal, amp or whatever works without electricity. So you should think about a power supply that bringes voltage into your devices.
This one has got a special plug for special devices. Most of the older pedals have to be used with such supplys but there a some companies building effects that must be used with these ones, too. Such as Electro Harmonix.
It think it's long enough and the quality is good.
There are no scratches on the isolation of the cable and the pins on the plug are super straight. I've had no problems with it in the last few years of use.
I bought this for my Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi (the big one) but even upon seeing it online I had doubts about it in terms of stability. It seems frail and liable to break and I'm at a loss as to why they kept it as the old headphone jack connection point instead of opting for one more universal akin to the Boss ac adapter. That way it could (theoretically) be daisy-chained along with my other pedals. As it is, it needs it's own power outlet leaving more of a tangly mess on your pedal board.
Not a bad power plug but it just feels fragile. I've had it for a few months now and gigged it out twice but we'll see how it holds up in the future.
I bought it to use with my single delay effect - Boss DD7. Even socket is different, I replaced it with correct one for Boss. I looked for power source without any buzzig or harming sound and I find it. It has only 100mA, but it's enough to single effect.
Pros:
stability of power
no noise or buzz in sound
Cons:
only 100mA (for single effect)
only ElectroHarmonix input socket
