This is an excellent wax which goes on real easy and wipes off just as easy. I've only ever used it on gloss finishes so not sure how well it would perform on matt or satin but I would think it might be best not to try unless someone can tell you otherwise. It works just as well on nitro or polymer finishes. Just one word of caution though, try not to get it onto screw heads, neck joints and pups or knurled/ribbed control knobs as it dries hard and white and looks pretty unsightly unless you spend a great deal of time cleaning it off afterwards. Other than that it's wipe on, leave for a minute or two until it looks dry then wipe it off and buff lightly with a cloth. A bit like a car wax really.
Works perfect.
Easy to use.
The smell is much better than other similar products, which tend to have a stronger and more irritant smell.
Applies OK, and cleans up easily, without leaving streaks, residues or any other marks.
I recommend it
I used it once, wasn't impressed. Smells weird, doesn't clean that well, doesn't cover scratches. Had similar results, if not better, with plain generic furniture "lacquer refresher".
Completely removable from surfaces and leaves no streaks.
In my opinion, the best cleaner, especially for vintage guitars, both solid body and archtop (if used correctly and if you have no serious dirt or serious paint problems).
Respectful of the paint but to use intelligently and avoid the larger paint cracks.
No other cleaner needed.
Demande du temps lors de l'application et doit être réappliqué de façon régulière. De plus le produit laisse des traces blanches dans les moindres petits recoins difficiles d'accès ce qui ajoute encore au côté chronophage de la chose.
Fantastic product for any guitar (thats not matte finish) - really gives almost a "second skin" feel to the finish. Especially great on Nitro finishes it seems to add a protective layer to the finish and buffs to a high gloss. This is kind of a cut above the usual bottles of "Guitar Polish" that just kind of leave a clean finish, this really lifts the guitars overall look. Will be buying more.
I have used this a couple of times on several guitars and it is easy to use and leaves a nice shiny surface. I can't really tell wheter it protects the guitars but it looks nice after polishing.
I have used various polishes over the years but none have got rid of small scratches, buckle marks on the back, fingernail/pick marks on scratch plates etc etc as well as this.
Amazing results for little effort.
Will certainly continue to use on all my guitars and this small pot goes a long way - I have cleaned 7 guitars so far, and it still looks like I haven't used it.
