Putting an extra lever on my Deusenberg Pomona was a good idea but it is very difficult for the inexperienced to play. The construction and design of this lever is excellent and it works really well. I use it to raise the first string a semotone If you use this on conjunction with raising the second string by a full tone you can get a good transisition from D to to D seventh and then to A. It does require some careful positioning of your picking hand to do it though. You have to roll your hand to release the second sting lever then the first string while sliding up to the 5th fret position. I guess it is not really a problem as you have to be crazy in the first place to even attempt to play lap steel! Full praise for Thomann though service and delivery are excellent.
I ordered an additional lever for a Duesenberg Mulitibender which was a few years old, I believe. It was perfectly to spec and installed easily. In case you are wondering, it comes with the washer, spring, and allen wrenches. Very pleased with the prompt shipping to the US. About to order another!
