Lively & expressive with sizzle!

Big fan of these pickups, they're expressive across all three positions with a full and articulate neck sound, characterful middle setting and a bridge that delivers classic rock in spades. There's a real Pete T from an iconic Brit rock band sound buried in the bridge pickup. Dig in with a mild dose of crunch or gain and the bridge will bark. Or pick it lightly and it will clean up with plenty of clarity between the notes. You might need to take some time adjusting the pole pieces to balance the sound though, and on that note, the wax potting makes the poles a little tricky to move. But persevere and you just might be rewarded.

Best bang for the buck

Over the years, I've used Gretsch, Tv Jones and Seymour Duncan daynasonics on same guitar. DeArmond Dynasonics are not the best but close second. Tonally, beats the stock Gretsch Dynas. Build quality is not great but that's ok I guess. Best budget dynas for the tone.
