Saw a U-Tube video with a pretty good guitar player testing a pedal or something, at one point he got in to these strings, his engagement with his explanation, and of course, the sound I was hearing got me all interested and so I ordered a set just to try em' out...
My Strat was born with common strings, and to be truthful, it was one of the reasons I was looking at strings in the first place, thought they sounded a little tired. Everytime I got to the A and E in a run the sound/tone, just sortta got lost, no definition, no bass...
So I get these and changed strings 2day, wow... The first thing that caught me was that each string had a color code so it was, should I say, "idiot safe" (me), lol anyway the strings on, tuned, stretched, tuned again, aso.
Play a few licks and walk on down to the good ol' A & E, and low and behold I HEAR the tone loud and clear, like even when my axe was new it didn't sound that good, but ok, how long were the factory strings residing on the neck, under tension, before I finally play on them, they were probably "tired" to start with, but these things were/are just fantastic, and the way the react/work with the pickups, blow me away, was not expectig that, wow did I get a new amp???
Remarkable...I guess I'll just have to whole heartedly recommend these strings to everybody that wants the real bite and power your guitar was meant to produce, I'm a happy camper at the moment...think you will be too :))
