I decided to try and tidy up the wiring for the lighting rig and opted for the Botex unit.
The unit is larger than I thought it was going to be, ( Dimensions are given in the listing) however with 5 outlets it's as compact as it can be.
The unit has a power indicator to show when its live which is useful when your trying to work out what is and isn't plugged in on a busy stage.
There are 2 M10 threads for attaching clamps or safety points, the threaded socket is quite short so your bolt needs to be around 20mm long to ensure it doesn't bottom out.
The ability to be able to plug an item in and not have to worry about it being pulled out is very reassuring, it's a shame these TR1 fittings aren't on more equipment, mixing desks, monitors
Would I buy these again? Yes, the unit is well made and does exactly what I intended it for.
