I am planning to build in rechargeable batteries and a home-made amplifier and use it for busking (backing track and electric guitar). The cabinet is sturdy and you can sit on it. There is a carry handle molded into the top which is quite comfortable. Sound is really great, but I had to turn the treble down a bit.
I had it opened, trying to reduce the weight, but the weight largely is due to massive speaker magnets, so no luck there. Soldering is faultless. Wiring is good. Everything is mounted with spade plugs and cable ties. No weak cable-to-board solder joints anywhere. Connectors are all secured with silicone glue.
Highly recommended, although I will probably not use it for busking due to the weight. Maybe I can change the speakers, or alternatively, there is a Fun Generation speaker that only weighs 3.6 kg. If that is as impressive as this beast, I might go for that.
