The steel-wound strings are a bit imperfect. They rust within months and tend to weaken split a bit at pressure points like the bridge. They still work, but they're less robust than say guitar strings and how they degrade over time. It's just worth knowing and noting. That said, what are your alternatives for a baritone uke? Give them a go and see what you think yourself.
The non-steel strings are standard Aquila uke strings.
These are way too light for my uke and don't have the tone and feel that the previous guitar strings I first tried, had. Big disappiontment for me but baritone ukes aren't really my field. Maybe I bought the wrong strings... sure feels like it. Bass string was really skinny and oxidzed as I was looking at it. Crap would be the best description.
