AKAI Professional MPD 218

This is my 10th midi controller, although the first with touch sensitive pads. At first this little fella does exactly what you'd expect it to do. Easy to set up and re-program. BUT! The sensitivity is really sloppy. Often it will double trigger samples - sometimes with almost silent notes, sometimes with full 127 velocity. Had to do workarounds, putting midi gates in my chain, to make sure that it didn't double trigger. I would suggest looking into the newer version, though I have zero experience with that model. If you choose this version - be warned. It WILL double trigger from time to time, but it CAN be fixed with midi gates/velocity.
